Seit einigen Wochen ist München um eine – kulinarische – Attraktion reicher! Das „Enter The Dragon“ hat endlich seine Türen, neben dem leuchtenden Drachenkopf, geöffnet, und herein strömt die große Fangemeinde des asiatischen Fooderlebnisses.

Natürlich waren wir schon dort, da wir uns auch zu eben dieser Fangemeinde zählen!
Bei diesem Jahrhundertsommer haben wir erst einmal an eine Reservierung draußen vor dem Lokal gedacht. Aber die Einrichtung ist viel zu schön, als dass wir uns das entgehen lassen wollten. Wie schon erwähnt, am Eingang leuchtet ein roter Drachenkopf und lässt allerlei Assoziationen zu. Man wird an der Eingangstür sofort freundlich empfangen und zu seinem Tisch im „The Flying Dragon“ (so heißt der Restaurantbereich) geführt.
Der Innenraum ist riesig, aber geschickt durch verschiedene Raumteiler und Materialkonzepte unterteilt. Besonders gefallen uns die kleinen Nischen im hinteren Bereich, für ca. 8-10 Personen, die sich durch einen Vorhang oder Paravent vom Hauptrestaurant separieren lassen. Die Farb-, Muster- und Materialauswahl der Stoffe ist bemerkenswert.
Im Bereich zur Ottostrasse befindet sich der Imbiss, „The Fat Panda Express“. Kleine Gerichte kann man mitnehmen, aber auch direkt auf Barhockern vor einem riesigen Thomas Henry Logo verspeisen.
Die alte Wendeltreppe – in schönster Patina – an goldenen Wänden führt in das Untergeschoß, wo die Bar, „The Crouching Tiger“ nicht nur Karaokebegeisterte zum weiterfeiern verführt. Oder aber man genießt ganz einfach Musik und Drinks im „The Drunken Monkey“, dem Club.
Und welche Freude die Speisekarte zu studieren! Unsere Lieblingsgerichte allesamt dabei!
Knusprig gebratene Ente, die Glück- oder Sommerrollen zum Selberrollen, die Nudelschale mit scharfem Hühnchen. Nicht zu vergessen die verschiedenen, bunt gemischten Vorspeisenplatten! Und mein Allerliebstes – die große Auswahl an Dumplings!!!
Und ja – auch die Drinks sind jede Sünde wert;-) Vor, mit und nach dem Essen! „Enter The Dragon“ bietet hierfür genug Platz, Nischen und Ambiente!!!

Since a couple of weeks there is a new attraction – foodwise – in Munich. Finally, after a long construction time, „Enter The Dragon“ opened its doors, beside a huge illuminated dragon head! And the big asian-food-lover community is surging in this location.Enter The Dragon ~ trendy in Munich!
No doubt, we have been there recently, of course, as part of this community!
When we did our reservation, we opted for the outside area – having the summer of the century. But in the end, we were impressed by the beautiful interior.
As already mentioned, at the entrance you pass by the illuminated dragon head, leaving lots of space for various associations. More important, you will experience a friendly welcome and be accompanied to your table in the „The Flying Dragon“, the name of the restaurant section.
The inside is huge, but skillfully divided in different sectors by changing materials, fabrics and little steps. We truly felt in love with the little niches in the back area, holding about 8-10 persons, separated by curtains or folding screens. Each of them is decorated with different materials and fabrics.
Enter The Dragon also has a snack bar, „The Fat Panda Express“, towards the Ottostrasse. Either to take away or to quickly enjoy it on bar stools in front of a big Thomas Henry logo.
After dining you can continue your evening in the basement – I love this old spiral staircase embedded in golden walls, already a visual experience!
„The Crouching Tiger“ bar serves all variety of drinks and invites all fans of karaoke to sing along (from Thursdays to Saturdays)!Or why not enjoying great music and drinks in the „The Drunken Monkey“, the club.
On the food side, we really had fun studying the menu! All our favourites were listed! The crispy duck, the summer rolls „DIY“, the noodle bowl with spicy chicken. Not to forget the diverse selection of starters. And my beloved dumplings – all the varieties we love!
I may not forget to mention the delicious drinks – one is not enough! And the „Enter The Dragon“ offers enough space, niches and a fantastic atmosphere for at least a couple of drinks! High risk to get addicted!
