They are identified inside of the cases with little clippings of newspaper as Horace Fritz and his wife Anna. Fritz (1833 1886) was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in Robertson's Independent Pennsylvania Light Artillery Militia battery on September 12, 1862. He served until he was mustered out on September 23, 1862. He was then commissioned
