The design features a bust of Nelson Mandela on one side, and a charging wildebeest on the other. The wildebeest in an ancient animal whose fossils have been found in caves in the region known as the 'Cradle of Civilization' north of Johannesburg. Nelson Mandela was an anti apartheid
