The ends of the heel bands of the spurs have two slots for straps and are decorated with lines of "beads"

each of which is decorated with a brass plaque engraved "P"There is a similar plaque above the browband which carries a scalloped brass piece engraved "1893"

These have four part wooden trees with wooden handlesThe boots have narrow feet - possibly too narrow for a modern foot
