Valentine's Day Card - Coutts Canada Rufftex Fold-Out Valentine (early 1940s) chair Everyman's Library CollectionThis Rufftex fold out Valentine tells a cute story and it's full of fun, old timey illustrations. Coutts was a Canadian greeting card company that joined forces with Hallmark in the early 1940s and before being fully absorbed in 1948. Examples of cards from the mid 40s onwards are stamped "Hallmark," so with some digging, I feel confident in saying that this card predates 1943. It's in great shape for eighty! Very cool Valentine's Day gift for someone
